The Decision Management team (part of MA Tech) is developing new capabilities for MasterCard's Decision Management Platform, which serves as the core for multiple business solutions to combat fraud and validate cardholder identity. Our patented Java-based platform processes billions of transactions per month in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability.
MasterCard software engineering teams leverage Agile development principles, advanced development, design and test automation practices, and an obsession over security, reliability, and performance to deliver solutions that delight our customers. We're looking for talented Software Testing Engineers to design and develop regression and integration test automation for fraud applications using advanced technologies that are revolutionizing payments.

Role
• Possesses a strong knowledge of programming, tools, architecture patterns, and BDD.
• Ensures Performance and Scalability for applications and platforms responsibilities.
• Works closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing.
• Documents performance test strategies and test plans; translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
Identifies and implements complex automation efforts; replicates and resolves production issues for single application.
• Defines and implements best practices for end-to-end application performance management solutions; focuses on emerging technologies.
• Translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods.
• Directs evaluation of manual testing tools for automation opportunities.
• Experience overseeing the coding, testing, and review process for unit and integration testing.
• Ensured quality of one or more application codebases and alignment with development standard.
• Building automation frameworks, acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating with other tools.
• Assist with production support issues by acting as a subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets.
• Be an integral part of the Agile SAFe discover and elaboration sessions.
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.
All About You
• Strong Experience in Performance Engineering for scalable distributed computing using Agile methodologies.
• Understanding Application Programming Interfaces, Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC), abstractions and integration patterns to solve challenging distributed system problems.
• Assist in the design, implement, and execute chaos experiments from conception to production deployment.
• Experience in core Java programming for test automation and the ability to identify, write and execute automated tests.
• Advanced skills in test fundamentals and methodologies.
• Can understand complex systems and to identify and design automated and manual test scenarios to strengthen existing test coverage.
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.
• Be experienced in working with development and release teams.
• Experience in Real time scalable solutions and CI/CD model.
• Assist in application go/no go decisions by providing quality metrics by covering different types of test scenarios
• Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
• Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of software development processes including agile processes and test-driven development
• Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and can function under pressure in an independent environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Essential Skills required:
• Experience in Core Java Programming
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins)
• Knowledge of Splunk, creating dashboards, alerts/monitors.
• Oracle & PL/SQL and advanced SQL scripting
• IDE such as Eclipse/IntelliJ
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of Distributed Computing at scale
• Knowledge of Splunk and dashboard creation
• Experience using tools such Putty, WinSCP, Toad, Postman etc.
