Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Digital Technology Analytics & Automation Applied Artificial Intelligence team.
We seek a Senior Analyst Data Scientist to work across functional areas with supervision to support the application of data science and software engineering methods and techniques for production scale internal use and external research. You will work with stakeholders across Raytheon, RTX, and the Applied Artificial Intelligence team to develop analytic products for agile delivery. Products span manufacturing, engineering, business development, and supply chain functions. This role provides an opportunity to influence organizational standards through researching and deploy technical solutions for customers as part of a broader ecosystem of machine learning and advanced analytics professionals.

- A master's degree in STEM
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficiency with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
- Experience building data visualizations with applications such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.
- Experience with commercial software development processes: good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, version control, MLOps concepts, processes, and technologies.
- Familiarity deploying machine learning models in public cloud services such as AWS, or Azure. Experience with Complex Neural Net architectures and high performance compute management tools (i.e. Slurm, HTCondor).
- Track record of GPU programming, network optimization and deployment for data science applications.
Location Information:
- This position is remote
- Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
