Sr. Cloud Software Developer

Description -

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Software Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications, with a deep understanding of TypeScript and modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Development:

    • Architect, develop, and deploy advanced cloud-based applications and services.

    • Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

    • Implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

    • Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployment and management of applications.

  • TypeScript Development:

    • Lead the development of complex applications using TypeScript.

    • Maintain and enhance existing codebases with a focus on performance and scalability.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

  • Technical Leadership:

    • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    • Investigates and resolves technical issues reported by users or identified during testing and usage.

    • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud development and TypeScript.

  • Integration & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of services.

    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.

    • Participate in the design and implementation of API endpoints and microservices.

  • Best Practices & Standards:

    • Promote and implement best practices in cloud architecture, security, and development.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-based applications.

    • Extensive experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.

    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

    • Proven experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies.

    • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.

    • Deep understanding of serverless architectures and microservices.

    • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    • Keeps up with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development to stay current and improve skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

  • Deep understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $102,500.00-148,650.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
