In this role, you will provide the support to the Cybersecurity team by reducing cybersecurity risk by ensuring all Enbridge team members understand and follow enterprise cybersecurity requirements.

Please note – This is a temporary one-year fixed term position.

What you will do:

  • Assist in deploying phishing simulations across the Enterprise that evolve workforce capabilities in recognizing and detecting phishing threats.

  • Extract relevant cybersecurity data from varied sources to correlate and create actionable intelligence through data analytics and metrics.

  • Assist with cybersecurity awareness related processes maintenance, reporting and documentation.

  • Update and track any required changes to policies and standards identified by internal and external requirements.

  • Recommend new controls or metrics to address specific security threats and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide recommendations for improving existing processes related to in the review of policies, standards, cybersecurity controls and metrics.

  • Work closely with TIS Cybersecurity staff to deliver the GRC and Awareness functions consistently across TIS.

  • Independently execute processes and procedures to deliver GRC and Awareness services.

  • Act as an ambassador to help facilitate an understanding of cybersecurity across the organization.

Who you are:

Required:

  • You have related university degree and limited previous experience OR a two- year technical diploma with some work experience in an IT environment.

  • A combination of education and experience (including volunteer experience) may be considered.

  • Data analytics experience – PowerBI, Tableau etc.

  • Strong business and technical background.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical matters in easy-to-understand non-technical ways.

  • Ability to identify priorities and ensure work is completed within stipulated timeframes.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001 and 27002 is strongly desired.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity awareness procedures

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
