AI and Data Science Business Development Manager

Description -

Job Summary
This role is responsible for participating in development of global go-to-market plans and budgets for PSS offerings, defining program metrics and goals, and establishing tracking mechanisms. The role also coordinates with cross-functional teams and agencies in developing and executing product introduction plans. Additionally, the role contributes to customer segmentation strategies, performs marketing operations activities, supports sales teams with training materials, and participates in account development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with focused program managers to stimulate business expansion in established markets and client accounts.

  • Evaluates opportunities and qualifies them for active pursuit based on their potential success probability and the intelligent allocation of resources.

  • Oversees and directs lead generation activities associated with the business program to foster effective lead nurturing and conversion.

  • Engages in consultative strategies to establish the organization’s presence and influence within deals at an early stage, thereby shaping client strategies.

  • Takes the lead in crafting and advocating for the business rationale behind complex service solutions, ensuring their alignment with client needs and a successful engagement.

  • Educates the account team on the organization’s service solutions to enhance their understanding and recognition of the value these solutions bring to client account retention and the organization’s financial performance.

  • Assists the sales team in effectively showcasing the value of service solution programs to clients.

  • Organizes and conducts regular customer events to maintain engagement and relationships.

  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.

  • Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education and Experience Required

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in services or solutions business, sales, business development, engagement, or a related field.
