About the role:

We are looking for a technically minded problem solver, Full-Stack developer to assist in the development and enhancement of applications for Global Conferences Technology.

What you’ll do: 

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using React and Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Participate actively in Agile/ Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications.
• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting enhancements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in full-stack web application development.
• Experience with React
• Experience with backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails or Java
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Basic understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS).
• Familiarity with CI/ CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database design and management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated developer who takes ownership of work.
• Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum is preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 113,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
