This role is responsible for the design of end-to-end technology solutions necessary to support the business strategy and objectives. The role develops innovative technology solutions that enable strategic initiatives to scale the business efficiently. The role has strong focus on software development and operational excellence using Agile and lean practices to create market differentiated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Converts business concepts into the next generation of software applications and tools utilizing adaptive agile methodologies.
• Analyzes and determines the necessary coding and integration based on goals and integration standards.
• Conducts tests, documents results, troubleshoots code issues, and recommends enhancements.
• Engages with development partners on design, progress, and problem-solving.
• Implements automation for deployment and monitoring.
• Assists supervisors with project development, including documentation of features, recording of progress, and creation of the testing plan.
• Contributes innovative ideas and exercises independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in software design & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience in C++/Java/Go, microservices architecture, and AWS is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapid development cycles and maintain flexibility amidst changing project requirements.
