We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Affordable Housing team within our UK Residential Valuation Business

The market-leading Affordable Housing team in JLL’s UK Residential Valuation business needs a Junior Data Analyst who can learn quickly to take responsibility for data capture, analytical tools and processes that underpin valuations of complex portfolio valuations of social housing throughout the country, coupled with sustaining and enhancing client relationships through the development of technological solutions.  Social housing experience is not a prerequisite for the role.

Working in support of a Senior Data Analyst, this role would suit someone who has recently graduated in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science and is proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages, including Microsoft Excel, SQL for database querying, and programming languages like Python.  An understanding of, or experience with, data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be beneficial. The role requires someone with strong communication skills to work with and support a large team and our housing association clients.

The role is based in our head office at 30 Warwick Street, London W1, but with flexible and hybrid working.

Required or desirable skills and experience for this role:

  • University qualification completed (or graduating in summer 2024) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar.
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas and formatting – an Excel test will be required.
  • Ability to code automation tasks in VBA and Python.
  • Analytical thinker with fine attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and present it using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, with a demonstrable commitment to client service.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Flexible, team player.
