Knowledge Management and Data Analyst

Key Role:

Provide data analytics and knowledge management subject matter expertise to a U.S. Forces client. Conduct data analytics of security cooperation programs, including partner nation assessments, program design, resourcing, activity execution, and monitoring and evaluation. Develop, organize, and maintain a local repository of relevant security cooperation documentation, including initiative design documents (IDDs), partner assessments, and monitoring and evaluation documentation. Serve as the operations, activities, and investments (OAI) data management systems SME for systems, including Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) such as analyzing policy, coordinating stakeholder outreach, and submitting developer requirements. Provide leadership with up-to-date information on OAI management systems and requirements. Support the identification of analytical methodologies to ensure analyses are relevant, reliable, and actionable with results presented through written reports, slide presentations, and data visualization. Provide advice on management information systems, data visualization, and other tools recommended for integration into the Command, and develop solutions to be implemented to support data requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with data analytics and scripting languages, including Python and R
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization, including Power BI and Tableau
  • 2+ years of experience with the DoD, Department of State (DoS), or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a data analytics or knowledge management role
  • Experience with knowledge management, including SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2013, or working as a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM)
  • Experience analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to be a self-starter while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with C2IE
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
  • Experience with Excel VBA and Excel Power Query
  • Experience working with DoD security cooperation or security assistance programs
  • Experience leading operational planning teams, working groups, and meetings with 10+ personnel
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or CS
  • DoD 8570 Compliant Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
