You will be part of a team that supports the US ARMY’s 160th Special Operations Air Regiment customer, US Marines, Coast Guard, and similar helicopter programs. Our team develops command and control software for complex mission sensors like Aircraft Survivability, Weather Radar, Camera sensors as well as weapons systems (Hellfire, Cannons, Rockets) embedded in helicopter cockpit avionics.
What You Will Do:
- Perform in a cross-functional agile team
- Work in close coordination with a mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes
- Demonstrate project at SEPP demo fair
- Learn and perform hands on Python development and debugging in our test environment
- Develop a Continuous Integration and Testing Cycle for the project
- Optimize Graphical Verification on Rotary Wing Avionics Displays
What You Will Learn:
- Gain additional knowledge with hands on Python development and debugging in our test environment
- You will gain knowledge in how to develop a Continuous Integration and Testing Cycle for the project
- Learn to optimize Graphical Verification on Rotary Wing Avionics Displays
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Coding Higher level languages like Python, or relevant languages (C/C++, Java)
