Job Summary
• This role is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of new IT systems, including solution design, development, and deployment. The role provides technical leadership in the planning, design, and architect phases of IT solutions development. The role oversees and leads services, processes, and resources related to technology solutions across the organization. The role shapes IT strategy, develops optimal solutions, and provides subject matter expertise related to IT solutions offerings.

Responsibilities
• Leads large development team and drives analysis of complex functional and business requirements.
• Leads design activities and provides mentoring and guidance to other developers.
• Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
• Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g. Database Administration).
• Applies HP and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
• Implements end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
• Implements security measures and best practices to protect software applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Works with CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.
• Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HP and customers.
• Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customers and vendors on complex issues.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.
