Description
(Senior) position in Wireless IC SW/FW white box tests for Mediatek networking IC designs in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth related features.Collaborate with MAC and PHY design teams, System Engineering teams and FW teams to develop white box SW/FW testing activities and issue investigations.
Design and develop testing methodologies of FW testing by automations and keep continuous improvements to meet internal and external quality requirements.
Requirements
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Communication Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related fields.• Ability in SW/FW Whitebox tests, including test plan design, test implementation, documentation and maintenance.
• Strong skills in issue debugging and investigations, including log/statistics collections, first-hand issue analysis and issue managements to drive it completion.
• Ability in automation script developments and automation test deployments.
• Good English/Mandarin communication skills in both oral and written ways.
• Preferred Experiences in Embedded system SW developments, especially in low-level hardware interfaces like PCIe/USB/SDIO.
• Understandings in Wi-Fi/BT protocol, MAC, PHY and systems is preferred.
• Understandings in Wi-Fi/BT functional, system performance and stability tests is preferred.
• Proficient in any of the following programming languages is preferred: Python, C++ or Perl.
