Description
The Key Account Sales Manager is an integral part of the Sales team with the highest priorities in meeting our customer focused goals and objectives . The Key Account Sales Manager will be a part of a Key Account Sales team and will be responsible for working with business groups and support teams locally and in MediaTek HQ to determine the sales strategy and execute to the agreed upon goals of the company. This individual will also be responsible for orchestrating the necessary resources within the business unit, local marketing and the applications team to ensure best in class customer intimacy is being built at the targets.This sales manager is a driven individual with an excellent ability to execute the sales plan including securing design wins and growing revenue. The candidate should have a demonstrable track record of establishing relationships with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain teams at the target customer. The candidate should be able to develop a sales strategy that leverages the Business Group strategy and work with peer organizations to drive opportunity plans and winning proposals. The individual will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong collaborative rapport across the company and our customers.
- Develop leverage-able relationships with key decision makers and influencers at target customers.
- Work with the team to develop plans and strategies for penetrating business, gaining share in existing customers, and achieving the agreed upon goals
- Position MediaTek and our products and technology, as well as our competitive advantage at target accounts
- Manage key customers’ expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate strategic selling process for high value, long sales cycle products with major customers.
- Execute a sales process to drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Demonstrate influence across organizations to ensure collaborative relationships are established across the company to drive business results.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting for the North America Geo.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to Business Group team and peers
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful market communication for target customers
- Travel may be required within the US and International as necessary
Salary range: $130,000 - $230,000
Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree- 8+ years of Sales experience with hyperscale and/or consumer electronics companies
- Experience in working in a global and regional structure is a plus.
- Familiar with the decision dynamics within those customers
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other teams such as BU business and marketing teams.
- Based in San Jose
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
