We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be adept at collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves conducting thorough research and evaluations, and transforming complex data sets into visualized reports that are comprehensible to internal stakeholders. The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying financial trends, analyzing market dynamics, and providing actionable insights to guide the company's financial strategies. This position requires a collaborative approach, as it involves working closely with both the finance and other business unit departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial health.Job Descriptions:
• Collect and organize financial data from various internal and external sources, including sales, operating expenses, and market research reports.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify key financial trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain visualized reports and dashboards to present complex data in an easily understandable format for decision-makers.
• Collaborate finance, and other departments to ensure a holistic approach to data analysis and decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of the company's financial databases and data processes, aiming for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support strategic financial planning by providing data-driven insights for scenario planning, pricing strategies, and other financial decisions.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within a finance department.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and the ability to apply them in financial analysis to avoid logical errors.
• Excellent knowledge of finance principles and a strong ability to interpret financial data.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in setting up and managing financial databases and conducting objective data-driven decision-making is highly desirable.
