This team shoots for ubiquitous and dramatic productivity improvements in all aspects of IC design flow within MediaTek.This is a technical role, and it requires solid understanding about IC design flow and enough grasps of how Machine Learning works, so that you may well identify valuable opportunities and provide cost-efficient solutions accordingly for productivity boosting.
Here, we have more than 10 agile teams of ML engineers to quickly iterating in various aspects of IC design flow to provide such solutions, and you will be part of these team. We treasure characteritics such as proactiveness, open-minded and self-learning, proficient communication skills in verbal and writing, and being a team player. Also you require hard skills such as writing quality code and documentation, end-to-end experiences of Machine Learning tasks, and the most important, solid understanding of certain IC design stages, for the in-depth collaboration with our global partners.
Requirements
- Qualification:This position requires all the following 3 criteria
1. Received a MS or PhD
2. Received your MS or PhD in, or having 3-5 years experinces in any of the following IC design stages/domains:
- VLSI circuit design (RTL, HLS, DV, P&R, ...)
- Analog circuit design
- RF circuit design
- Communication
- EDA
3. Having above entry level familiarity about Machine Learning task by fulfilling any of the followings:
- Trained and deployed at least 1 ML model in industrial projects
- Participated at least one cerficated Machine Learning programs (formal education or online courses)
- Participated in ML researches, and the paper has been published or under review
- Participated in ML contests and received awards or ranked top 10%
4. (required for senior offer) Lead a technical team in at least 1 industy or industry-academia collaboration project for more than 1 year. The experience should demostrate strong evidence about:
- How you lead your team to move forward
- How you collaborate with other parties
- Bonus:
- Experienced with applying Machine Learning techniques in IC design domain (industy or industry-academia collaboration projects)
- Haved taped-out circuits of academia researches or real-world products and understood related workflows
- Experienced with implementing Machine Learning application with PyTorch/TensorFlow
- Experienced with software development collaboration (including but not limited to open-source projects)
