Wireline Serdes/Optical DSP and System Design Engineer (mediatek)

Description

The Analog Design and Circuit Technology team at MediaTek is searching for qualified candidates to join our fast-growing team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will get to work on state-of-the-art next generation wireline and optical transceivers for data centers serving cloud infrastructure as well as the growing field of AI and high-performance computing. We are looking for ambitious analog and mixed signal designers, and DSP/system designers who are willing to learn, grow and contribute to diverse portfolio of products.

1. Develop advanced algorithms for future wireline connectivity and optical transceivers
2. Implement high-level DSP algorithms in Matlab, Verilog, and C/C++ simulation platforms and perform design trade-off and optimization in terms of performance, complexity, and power consumption
3. Collaborate with ASIC, and Analog-Mixed Signal design teams from different sites worldwide and provide a full support for fixed-point design, pre- and post-silicon verifications in the product development
4. Conducting future advanced research and development activities in wireline and optical communication areas.

Salary Range: $145k/yr ~ 220k/yr

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
