Job Summary
• This role is responsible for driving the creation of user-centric digital experiences that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirement. The role clearly communicates design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role collaborates with designers, product managers, and engineers to align design visions with technical feasibility. The role provides expertise to drive the creation of products that are visually engaging, efficient, and accessible to a diverse range of users.
Responsibilities
• Develops organization-wide experience architectures across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced partner relationships for alignment with design strategy, technology roadmap, and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards.
• Creates appropriate designs that address user research findings, functional requirements, technology constraints, business goals, and organization's security.
• Integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architecture and design language.
• Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced design partners, and industry standards groups.
• Negotiates and evolves the design with stakeholders in the product team, and ensures that the integrity of the design is upheld in the delivered product.
• Partners with business partners and business leaders on the rollout and change management of program changes.
• Ensures that branding and illustrations are implemented correctly inside of products, presentations, and other experiences.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of user experience design innovation and excellence.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in design principles, human factors engineering, social sciences research, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $150,000 to $215,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
