Description

Apple Services Engineering is looking for a talented software engineer to join our development team to help us design and develop the future of our platform. A platform that powers people’s favorite products like App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+ and many more.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

* Building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
* Improving reliability, quality, and time-to-market
* Measurement and optimization of system performance

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with designing and developing globally distributed resilient applications
Experience producing with at least one JVM based language
Experience with testing patterns for producing high quality code (unit/integration testing)
Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
Experience supporting mission-critical and highly available systems
BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
6+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems
Experience with both relational and no-sql databases
Experience designing robust web APIs
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
