Job Summary
HR IT is looking for an IT Developer with knowledge on application development and data integrations in HR and Payroll domains.
He/She applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate solutions or alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. . Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
The role assists with tasks and deliverables related to system development life cycle phases for package and custom solutions. The role keeps stakeholders informed of problems, issues, and resolutions and manages their expectations.
Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance and maintain applications and data integrations in Workday and/or HR Custom solutions area
• Involve in the technical analysis of the requirements and recommend solutions
• Collaborate and work with cross functional partners and global technical teams
• Participates as a member of development team and performs basic analysis of functional requirements.
• Prepares and conducts unit testing and debugging under supervision, to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and user guides.
• Utilizes version control systems to manage and track code changes.
• Analyzes and solves complex technical problems collaboratively with the team.
• Completes code stubs prepared by senior developers.
• Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.
