WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Program is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to improve onboarding, maintaining, and servicing institutional clients across the firm. In this role you will be responsible for tactical and strategic implementation of the the p[platform. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Collaborate with team members in defining the architecture and design of the system to be delivered

  • Build, execute, and deliver the assigned modules and components of the system, on time

  • Provide estimates to be used for roll-ups into the broader program-wide plan

  • Document the system APIs and framework usage

  • Comprehensively unit test end-to-end flows to ensure code is bug-free

  • Coordinate with other development and engineering teams for key components needed to be delivered by integrating functionality

  • Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • An individual contributor mindset with the ability to understand complex concepts and deliver systems with limited support.

  • Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript, NodeJS, NoSQL, SQL, GraphQL, MongoDB, Reddis, and other modern technologies; strong understanding and experience with infrastructure, protocols, dev-ops, (docker, Jenkins, Helios, etc.)

  • Experience with real-time systems programming using connection pools, change streams, pub-subs, and other messaging systems.

  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities; a strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.

  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation

  • Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
