As an Experienced Associate, the PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this role include: 

  • To constantly update and enhance mobile applications to ensure accessibility, security, accuracy, stability, reliability and functionality of the application. 

  • To take initiative to research and propose new features development and existing features enhancement from time to time to meet clients’ needs, desires and problems. 

  • To monitor mobile version and take action to improve and enhance the version for better mobile app user experiences. 

  • To run proper tests on any new functions/features developed before release to the production environment. 

  • To enhance mobile app quality constantly and consistently, including but not limited to, troubleshooting and elimination of bugs, glitch, error and grammatical mistakes. 

  • To ensure all the company applications, including but not limited to, Github, Zendesk etc. are managed in a secured manner with proper access authority and information, data, source code, files distribution privately on these channels.  

  • Ensure all codes, source code management system(s) and workstream management system(s) follow industry’s coding best practices and are free from cybersecurity risks.

Requirements: 

  • Recognized University Degree / Relevant certifications in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline. 

  • At least 2 years of related work experience or knowledge in mobile app development will be an added advantage. 

  • Strong knowledge of Flutter framework and Dart language. Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages/concepts and good understanding of app architecture is a bonus. 

  • Familiar with HTTP / REST (APIs) for communication with the server. 

  • Customising, maintaining, and enhancing existing mobile applications and adhere to agreed delivery schedules. 

  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, with knowledge to develop REST API an added advantage. 

  • Experience with Git, Subversion or other version control tools and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code etc. 

  • Ability to write readable, well-maintained code, create extensive documentation for existing code and refactor the previously written code into a more readable and maintainable state. 

  • Publishing & Maintaining app releases on App Store Connect, Play Store Console & Huawei App Gallery. 

  • Comfortable with CI/CD services or Unit/ Integration Testing for debugging code, enhancing performance, security and reliability. 

  • Experience with Provider State Management, Dependency Injection or any other state management approaches is a must. 

  • Customising, maintaining and enhancing existing code and ensuring all codes, source code management system(s) and workstream management system(s) follow industry’s coding best practices and are free from cybersecurity risks. 

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development life-cycle and familiarity with work/project management tools like JIRA is an added advantage. 

  • Team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and learning together with the team. 

  • Results oriented with an agile mindset. 

  • Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English Language with confidence.
