Data Scientist, Mid

Key Role:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and data-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies. Lead and manage AI and data science projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria. Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, risk management plans, and performance metrics. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to optimize efficiency and drive successful project outcomes. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project goals, progress, and challenges. Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science to drive innovation and best practices. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards in all AI and data initiatives. Work on cutting-edge AI and data science initiatives that have a significant business impact. Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in IT program or project management
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI frameworks, data pipelines, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a CS, IT, or Data Science field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
