Level three software engineer for the SiteMinder product. Knowledge of the Single Sign On space, Java programming, and Java application server knowledge required. The candidate requires 7+ years of Java software development experience. Assignments include writing design specifications for small to medium components, developing these components, delivering unit tests, and maintaining the code base for released versions of the product. The candidate should possess the ability to analyze and take ownership of existing Java components. This includes defect fixes, developing automation, or filling automation gaps as needed.
Responsibilities
As a Java Full Stack engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using full-stack Java technologies while adhering to Agile methodologies to address the needs of our customers. In this role, you are expected to:
Analyze and understand designed solutions to ensure they fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
Foster strong, collaborative partnerships with engineers, documentation, and support teams.
Align closely with established Agile teams, promoting a culture of rapid learning, experimentation, iteration, and close collaboration.
Conduct unit and module testing to identify defects and verify software meets defined specifications.
Provide proactive support to QA and support teams in identifying and resolving system issues.
Engage in design and code reviews with fellow developers, adhering to best practices for software engineering.
Continuously monitor progress and help guide the Agile team toward meeting non-functional requirements effectively.
To qualify for this position, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent field) with 7+ years software development experience
Strong software development experience in building enterprise security products with deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management
Hands-on experience with following technologies and concepts
- Expertise in Java Full stack
- Experience in REST API web services implementation.
- Experience of Web/application servers (Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss etc)
- knowledge with SAML 2, Oauth2 and OIDC SSO applications, Federation Services
To be successful, you bring:
Exposure in IAM fundamentals (identity and access management, authentication, authorisation, certification management, etc.)
Solid coding, system design skills and a collaborative mindset
Understanding of globally distributed enterprise product deployments and associated complexities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with global teams and customers
This is an in-office position. You will be expected to work from the office full-time, Monday through Friday. Work location for this position is Hyderabad, India
