Senior IT Data Analyst (centene)

Position Purpose:

Provides data science and process automation services in support of Cybersecurity Portfolio Operations including Demand Intake, Resource Management / Timekeeping, Budgeting / Financial Controls, and Procurement (SOWs, POs, and RFPs). This role will also support 45 Cybersecurity functions including Executive Metrics and Reporting as well as extended services to other IT areas (BTS - Business Technology Services).

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Engineering Professional who can work within our Cybersecurity Portfolio Management department with as many of the following skills as possible:

Data / Process Engineer (Back-End):​

• Data Infrastructure​, Central Data Repository​ (Data Verse, Data Lake,​ Data Warehouse, Data Mart)​
• Physical Data Structure (DBA Work), Data Sourcing (& Schemas)​
• Extract, Transform, & Load (ETL -​ Via Python to APIs, PowerPlatform)​
• Data Cleansing​, Data Integrity, Data Pipeline, Data Integration / Aggregation​, Data Security, Data Auditing​
• Process Automation & QA​ (PowerAutomate, MS Forms, ​Canvas)​

Data / Process Modeler (User Facing):​

• Data / Business Process Research​, Data Dictionary​, Glossary of Terms​, Data Models​ (Entity Relationship Diagrams – ERDs)​
• Process Models​ (Data Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts, Swim Lanes, State Transitions, Use Cases)​
• Business Rules & Logic​, Process Improvements, Requirements​, Specifications​
   

Data / Process Analyst (User Experience):​

• Dashboard & Report Development​ (PowerBI, DAX, M – Ops to Executive)​
• Traditional BI​ (Slide and Dice, Drill-Down)​
• Data Analytics, Data Insights, Metrics & Measures​ (Leading & Lagging Indicators)​
• Predictive Analytics​ (Python, R)​
• Artificial Intelligence (Power Apps AI Hub, Co-Pilot)​
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 – 6 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

• One or more of the following skills are desired:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with Agile development
• Dimension data modeling and database design
• ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load)
• PowerBI or related tool(s)

• Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
