Posting Title: Oracle PLSQL Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic PLSQL developers who can collaborate well with both internal and external stakeholders to design, develop and maintain software solutions to join us as part of the team.

As a successful PLSQL Developer, you should demonstrate good knowledge of industry best practices and proficiency with passion in Oracle/SQL database; as well as delivering fully functional software that meet the schedule and requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end application design and development.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution evaluation.
• Ensure codes are well designed, efficient and in compliance with best practice.
• Participate in Unit Test,  SIT, UAT and Production support.
• Participate in the preparation and release of software components.
• Able to follow through tasks without prompting
• Able to contribute to a workable design
• Create and maintain documentation for software design specifications.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computing/Information Technology or related field
• Be the go-to expert for Oracle and PL/SQL
• Should have exposure to Unix and shell scripting
• Participate in coding and enhancements
• Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load
• Development and support Applications and services as specified by our business partners
• Exposure to the financial domain is an added advantage
• Commit to and actively work to remain knowledgeable in latest coding languages, database software, system, standards
• Model, design and maintain data warehouse including table structures, stored procedures, views and functions

Good to have:

• Experience in Java/Rest API will be added advantage
