Description
- Perform system-level debugging and troubleshooting to address complex performance and boot issues- Optimize the Windows boot process for our products, including identifying and resolving boot-time bottlenecks
- Utilize system profiling tools and techniques to identify performance issues and resource utilization
- Work with ODM/OEM partners to integrate Windows software and drivers into their hardware products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows performance tuning tools, techniques, and best practices
- Write technical documentation and specifications related to system boot, performance, and profiling optimizations
Requirements
- C and C++ Programming language- Software RD Experience
- 3+ years experience in embedded system software/firmware development
- Great cross-team collaboration and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Windows System Experience
- Familiar with WHCP / WHLK certification
- Experience with Windows driver development and optimization
- Knowledge of Windows internals and debugging tools such as WinDbg
- Familiarity with hardware performance counters and low-level system performance analysis
- Experience with Windows system image customization and deployment optimization
