Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 years of experience with software development in C/C++ and data structures/algorithms.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience of building embedded system software stack.
  
• Experience of working on ambient systems.
  
• Experience of power and performance analysis and optimization.
  
• Experience of developing android tests and applications.
• Good understanding of android software and hardware architectures.
  
• Good understanding of SoC Architecture.

You will work on ambient system runtime, firmware, and application development. You will play a critical part in developing and optimizing the software that powers our next-generation TPU hardware, enabling low-power, high-performance machine learning (ML) applications in a variety of devices. You will need to have a strong understanding of low-level programming, embedded systems, computer architecture, and ML concepts, along with a passion for pushing the boundaries of hardware and software integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software solutions (prototypes and production-ready) for Google SoCs, ensuring performance and efficiency.
  
• Contribute to the architectural design of future Google SoCs, leveraging software optimization expertise to shape hardware or software integration for enhanced user experiences.
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and productize SoC designs, ensuring seamless hardware-software synergy and addressing real-world user needs.
  
• Research the latest technological advancements and integrate them into software optimization strategies.
