We are looking for a talented software and systems engineers to join the Software Delivery team at Apple. You will be responsible for reliably and efficiently deploying services and supporting device labs equipped with current and next-generation Apple hardware. You must enjoy working on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment that fosters growth, teamwork and innovation.
Passion for operational and engineering excellence is required. Additionally, a candidate should have the following experience:
- Debugging and trouble shooting device hardware/software failures
- Provisioning and deployment of released/unreleased hardware
- Developing automation for managing machine configuration and software deployment
- Provide support to engineering in debugging systems
- Ensure devices and systems are up and available for testing
- Maintaining a fleet of thousands of iOS/macOS devices and peripherals across labs in multiple regions

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience administrating software services in Unix environment and automated provisioning of systems
- Experience with Swift, Python or similar languages
- Experience with DevOps tech stack/tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling macOS and/or iOS lab infrastructure
- Experience working in fast paced engineering environments
- Used to work in a global and cross functional environment
- Strong working knowledge of macOS and iOS hardware and software
- Core understanding of LAN network infrastructure
- Experience with common data center infrastructure (HVAC, power distribution, copper and fiber cabling, rack types and capacities etc…)
- Experience working collaboratively to define, develop, and deploy solutions across multiple applications
- Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or related work experience
