THE ROLE:
This is a position within the AI GPU Software Group (AGS) responsible for AMD's ML SDK initiatives, including GitHub Community Support, ROCm documentation, and profiling tools. We have a unique role where the candidate will get a chance to work on our profiling tools with Product Management teams in defining and developing the AMD profiling tools.
This is an on-site role as the hiring team will require the candidate to work in the Markham office.
THE PERSON:
We are seeking someone who is passionate about AI in AMD, creative on pushing boundary for tool development, and able to work patiently and with minimum supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Profiling tools teams and Product Management to define the tools requirementView Orignal JOB on: italents.net
- Collaborate with 3rd Party Open-Source for development
- Design, Code, test, integrate and deliver profiling tools components to both internal and external customers.
- Productization support such as fixing field issues
- Provide status update to upper management
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Performance analysis tools and methods
Component Integration
Experience in custom tools development on Open-Source platforms
GPU architecture
Compute (GP-GPU)
C/C++
Familiar with Linux, Github, development environment.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
