Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, set up and maintain machine learning and code development infrastructure for a team engaged in groundbreaking ML robotics research.

Description

In collaboration with researchers and software developers, the incumbent will design, implement and maintain:
Python and C++ code build and development machinery.
Machine learning data collection, and storage, indexing and retrieval.
Cloud execution pipelines for variety ML workloads.
Methodologies to deploy to physical robots.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field.
5 years of experience with devops work, and ML data pipelines.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the bazel build system
Knowledge of Python and C++, particularly with respect to build and deployment.
Familiarity with robotics and associated middleware.
Some familiarity with the data and infrastructural needs of modern ML algorithms.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
