About the team

The Zillow brand delivers industry-leading tools and experiences to over 150 million users per month, including millions of highly engaged customers on our iOS and Android apps.The Media Solutions team is responsible for monetization of Zillow Group’s customer traffic. We are a shared service that builds and manages the ad tech that powers the Media, New Construction and Rentals ads on Zillow across web and app experiences.
About the role
Our goal is to deliver relevant ads on the best mobile digital experience in real estate. To achieve this, we are building and integrating new ad infrastructure enabling us to create and manage ads in the app. We will replicate existing web ads and create new ads that are consistent with the mobile experience. This role will lead both efforts.
You Will Get To:
Own the end-to-end ideation, execution, evaluation, and iteration cycle of ads in the Zillow app
Be Zillow’s expert on iOS & Android app advertising trends and capabilities, and a thought leader on how to leverage these innovations into industry-leading digital ad experiences for our customers
- View Orignal JOB on: italents.netWork across functions (engineering, data science, sales, product) to own Zillow app ad data & metrics reporting. Represent ad data trends & insights to senior leadership.
Influence other product teams roadmaps to drive ad tests that create an excellent core ad experience.
Work closely with a talented, highly-motivated cross-functional team, and represent app expertise to 150+ product teams within Zillow Group
Be the evangelist for your initiatives across the organization to achieve shared prioritization and execution on the most impactful work
Communicate plans, status and outcomes regularly with partners
Adapt quickly in an agile and iterative team environment
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you are
Qualifications
2+ years of proficient ability in a product management role in digital media. A focus on building ad technology products with agile product development or ad operations is preferable
Experience with building for mobile applications at scale
Prior experience with and knowledge of mobile attribution and ad performance measurement
High skill and enthusiasm for digging into quantitative and qualitative data, developing and testing hypotheses, and seeking the “why” behind data trends
Ability to clearly define product objectives, estimated impact, and success metrics that align to business strategy and product vision
Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, data science, design) and across different product organizations
Ability to balance strategic priorities, business goals, customer needs, technical feasibility, and time to market to define impactful product solutions
Proven ability to independently establish relationships, influence others and resolve challenges with internal & external teams
Humility to question assumptions, seek broad input, and validate iteratively
Very strong written communication, with an emphasis on high-quality artifacts (product briefs, strategy documents, leadership-facing presentations)
Either a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical/analytical field, equivalent tech work experience, or an MBA
