Responsibilities
As an OIS Modernization intern you will help migrate existing software and tooling to modern solutions. Examples include, resolving cybersecurity flaws, creating processes and tooling for migrating to a new requirements management system, creation of automated tests to enhance CI/CD pipelines, or analyzing and upgrading third party packages and managing Software of Unknown Provenance (SOUP), etc.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the direction and support of engineering manager/supervisor. The requirements listed below are representative of the prerequisites, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Must be an enrolled college student completing a bachelor’s or graduate program in a technology related field such as computer science, computer engineering, or information systems.JOB IS FROM: italents.netVIEW
Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above.
Letter detailing what the student hopes to gain from the internship.
Resourcefulness in finding information and answers, highly motivated.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python.
Ability to develop queries utilizing a query language such as T-SQL.
Have completed education in or experience with C#, Java, or C++.
Decrease the amount of time and effort required to perform a MOSAIQ software upgrade.
Improve the quality of the MOSAIQ software upgrade process.
Ability to prioritize/execute to achieve desired project goals and prudence and sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capacity to learn and apply new concepts quickly in a dynamic environment.
Dedication to helping others.

The US base salary range for this position is $15- 25/hr.
