ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

St Vincent’s Private Melbourne is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Werribee and Kew.

In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist in our dynamic, progressive and friendly allied health team at our East Melbourne campus.

This role will be part-time, fixed term, working
0.8 EFT Wednesday to Saturday (or as activity required). The successful applicant may accept extra shifts offered on other days at another St Vincent's campus maximising 1.0 EFT per week.

The caseload is approximately 80 % Acute Orthopaedics, and 20% Medical. There may be opportunity to work within our Oncology and Breast surgery specialities, and Rehabilitation ward.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Orthopaedic Physiotherapist your skills will include:

  • Have over 36 months post graduate experience, of which over 24 months are relevant to orthopaedic specialty.

  • Be committed to providing an innovative high-quality service to Physiotherapy clients.

  • Have the ability to identify clinical risk and implement strategies to minimise risk.

  • Be a team player and forward thinking.

  • Have values consistent with those of St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

The position will be based at the St Vincent’s Private East Melbourne site.
