Title: Sr. Data Analyst
About this role:
This role will support Global Real Estate. You will be a part of a transformative team, tackling strategic and operational challenges to optimize our office footprint in a hybrid environment. The individual in this role will be responsible for utilizing our data to inform key decisions as it relates to increasing the optimization of our portfolio and the related associates. Gartner’s leadership team relies on our team to condense hundreds of thousands of lines of data into easily interpretable visuals to make informative decisions regarding our offices and support models in 100 countries globally.
What you’ll do:
Data Management, Innovation, and Strategy
Develop processes and guidelines to establish data quality controls, appropriate data hierarchies and data management strategies in support of Global Real Estate
Responsible for ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems; Identify data quality issues by proactive collaboration with stakeholders and support partners to fix data issues or integrate data into analytics system.
Conduct required data entry, manipulation, and aggregation to meet the goals of the team.
Create and maintain product workflows and data repositories for Real Estate decisions.
Create new interactive dashboards to communicate performance KPIs to leadership; Maintain and enhance existing and future dashboards/reports.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify use cases, efficiently scale reporting, and identify opportunities to automate.
Be the resident expert with respect to our portfolio and operations; establish and leverage a network of business unit partners to develop an intimate understanding of the different data sources that exist across the company.
Communicate findings: Synthesize key data trends through advanced reporting, dashboards, and presentations, driving follow-up actions/analyses to senior leadership.
Enhance the function: continually refine/improve analyses, tools, processes, and deliverables to identify actionable insights more efficiently and effectively; Suggest and Enable automation opportunities.
Lead and develop team members on all applicable tools and data analysis.
Insight generation and sales communication analytics
Develop analytical reports and dashboards encompassing data extraction, data transformation, data cleaning, creating Excel/Power BI based dashboards.

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of working experience preferred. Preferably working in data analytics
Advanced Experience with advanced data manipulation and summarization skills using and MS Excel or other SQL databases (Dbeaver, Snowflake, AWS)
Intermediate to Advanced PowerBI knowledge to manipulate large datasets and provide data visualization to summarize key messages.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills to enable direct and frequent conversations with senior leaders in Gartner.
Demonstrated ability to form relationships with senior leaders.
Experience and aptitude to work with different data sources.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and independently own project from start to finish.
