The Opportunity 

 Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service is a powerful suite of cloud-native composable content services that rapidly deliver high impact, personalized experiences across any channel; unlocking content from all, for all. 

In Adobe Romania we are engineering and operating foundational services for AEM cloud offering and we are looking for a Senior Computer Scientist, tech lead, to accelerate our vision on cloud innovation and automation at scale with a focus on CI/CD pipeline and capabilities. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Partners with multi-functional experts (Product Management, Architects, etc.) and engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their business needs and their custom implementations. 

  • Uses standard methodologies, articulates ideas, & markets them across team and organization. Promotes a culture of continuous learning through experimentation.

  • Leads application/framework/service design efforts, optimizing for quality, testability, and scale. 

  • Uses appropriate & meaningful programming languages and technologies, writes code, tests & deploys to meet business requirements. 

  • Be a technical leader with the ability and desire to mentor other members of the team. 

  • Prototype new approaches and production solutions at scale on Azure and AWS.

  • Work with Data & ML Engineers to use data and algorithms to implement new strategies for simplifying the CI/CD and custom validation automations and reduce manual and cost efforts.

What You'll Need to Succeed: 

  • Proven expertise with AEM development using using Apache Sling, OSGi Services (OSGi Annotations), HTL, GraphQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX​.

  • Proven expertise with AEM platform deployment and operations including Dynamic Includes, Schedulers configurations, Importers, Listeners/Filters, Sling Servlets, OSGI Configurations and Environment specific configurations​.

  • Proven expertise in crafting and developing scalable and resilient applications running on cloud PaaS (Azure, AWS) using a Kubernetes platform.

  • Proven experience in building and integrating CI/CD pipelines and automations.

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree

  • 6+ years of experience crafting and developing web or software applications 

Nice to have

  • Experience with k8s operators and CRDs

  • Experience with monitoring systems like New Relic, Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana

  • Experience with Kafka, NoSQL (Mongo)
