We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our outstanding and growing engineering team at Workday in Dublin!

As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering extraordinary software solutions that empower our customers to succeed, while improving the evolving delivery process as well as infrastructure and services.

About the Role

  • Identifying project risks and issues and providing  change control process inputs

  • Working on enabling features for new customers and supporting the implementation process

  • Developing custom client solutions of HiredScore products

  • Working on the development of multiple projects in parallel, identify design gaps, risks and ensuring completion according to priority, 

  • Designing automated solutions to support the Professional Services standards and principles

  • Configuring new automated processes and developing new tools and infrastructures that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience of development, with at least 1 year of experience in Python

  • Experience with NOSQL queries, including familiarity with indexes and database standard processes

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and Kubernetes and/or Docker

  • Solid understanding of development tasks tools (e.g. JIRA, GitHub)

  • Familiarity with standard methodologies in software development

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and in startup-like environments

  • Process-focused mentality with strong, organized and methodical problem-solving ability

  • Adaptable and resilient, able to handle changing priorities and challenges.

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and translate customer needs.

  • Passion for technology, teamwork, and solving complex problems

  • Strong English communication skills
