The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. You’ll part of CommBiz responsible for -------few lines about the team
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be working within a cross-functional squad responsible for the technical design, development, and rollout of key enhancements to our end-users. You’re constantly pushing the boundaries to help deliver outcomes that define future industry trends and your passion for outstanding user experience and ability to solve complex problems is key to developing high quality technical solutions. Also, you will be a strong advocate for best practices, capable of challenging and being challenged, to deliver the best technical solutions for our customers. With your rich blend of skillsets, you will contribute to the systems end-to-end as well as manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing.

Have passion for developing and deploying high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Are ready to execute state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks.
Have experience with the Full-cycle development and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on AI app designs
Design high quality and scalable apps using AI technologies and LLM
Contributes to a culture where quality, excellence and openness are championed.
Have natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups.
Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems.
Works well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
Experience in technologies such as .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET
Experienced in data processing and analysis using Python/Pandas
AWS Cloud – EC2, SNS, S3, Lambda, Certification is a must
DevOps and CI/CD – TeamCity, GitHub Actions or Octopus
AI & Machine learning and LLM knowledge is desired
Expertise with Microservices, Restful API design pattern is desired
Experience in frontend frameworks such as Reactjs is desired
