Position Summary:
Provide expertise for design and support of Security Administration on security systems and applications running in the BCBSMA environment. Responsible for planning and designing security solutions, including overall architecture, installation and upgrades, documentation, operational support, process maintenance and security/data protection. Provide guidance in the development of infrastructure requirements with business, architecture group, and solution teams. Ensure the seamless integration and synchronization of business applications, security, and infrastructure technologies. Lead the introduction of new/incoming technology projects into production; manage integration management systems for security systems, availability, administration, operational processes, vendor management, and best practices across the enterprise.
Responsible for team leadership on production support, design, planning, implementation, functional testing, troubleshooting, and protection of BCBSMA corporate assets. Involves proactive monitoring of equipment and systems to support both existing and new applications. May include security/performance monitoring, configuration management, issue escalation and resolution, systems engineering, administration, security documentation, and strategic technical planning.

Responsible for Security Administration on a variety of security systems including endpoint and server antivirus, Data Governance, SIEM, DLP, Privileged Access Management; others as deemed appropriate. Monitoring, maintaining and performance tuning of security services Building and maintaining simple to complex Security System environments both in standalone and virtual environments Proactively monitoring and fine tuning security systems Documenting all of the technical phases of the system lifecycle including installation/configuration, environment variables, scheduled jobs, important file systems, maintenance history and upgrades Performing root cause analysis and resolution for all security applications or software issues. Strong interface with the threat and vulnerability management, network, system administrators and desktop architecture and deployment teams Proactive assessment of new security products for integration into the BCBSMA suite.
- Lead technology role to the enterprise integration management services team servicing medium to large installations.
- Overall responsibility for the management of integration system assets including engineering, specification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to meet aggressive SLA's.
- Responsibilities include more than one of the following engineering disciplines; Security Administration, System Administration, capacity planning, performance engineering, coupled with proposing enhancements to the architecture and supporting deployment efforts.
- Develops and follows agreed standards of system support
- Develop and support / enforce reference architecture and usage patterns for integration engineering.
- Required to understand and work with internal customers, and to develop integration management requirements during scope definition phases of all projects.
- Work with business requirements to develop technical solutions during solutions design phase. Represent the interests/perspective of the Infrastructure team.
- Provide expertise to project managers to understand project priorities and help sequence implementations and modifications accordingly.
- Communicate within project teams to set deliverables and expectations (time/resource requirements).
- Recognize, identify, and communicate risks during course of projects
- Work with Solution Delivery Teams to implement testing plans; ensure the resolution and communication of cross-application/organization testing issues and decisions.
- Liaison with other IT groups; implement the design and development of testing using the detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts.
- Work with Professional Services to manage the relationship with internal and external services vendors to ensure superior service delivery for all testing work. Build vendor relations as appropriate.
- Provides the conduit between the business requirements and the technical resources to ensure technical design, development and testing meet the needs of the business.
Contributes to staff development and internal departmental process improvement acting as a role model and mentor to colleagues.

Background and Experience
- College degree in related technical/business or equivalent work experience.
- Requires 7-10 years of related Security Administration infrastructure experience.
- Must be able to analyze raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results
- Troubleshooting experience pertaining to forms of integration management, security, and application issues.
- Experience with medium sized technical projects, with demonstrated oral and written ability to communicate with team members. Must know when to ask for assistance, and when to give assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to improve the operational efficiency of our organizations integration management infrastructure.
- Willingness to work beyond core business hours, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned system modifications.
- Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver technology projects on time and within budget, following SDLC standards.
- Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, operating models and working with professional services firms.

Full timeSalary Range: $139,320.00 - $170,280.00The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
