Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Long-term Intern to join our Software Development department based in Atlanta, GA.
You will be helping partners and customers integrate predictive models into our aircraft predictive maintenance software
Meet the Team:
The Skywise Team powers a purpose-built industry data platform, aimed to address Aircraft Operations Challenges. Our team combines in-flight, engineering and operational data in an analytic rich environment to provide airlines with meaningful information.
Your Working Environment:
The Airbus Digital Alliance is a partnership founded in 2019 with Delta Air Lines to develop predictive maintenance programs and additional performance solutions for mixed fleet operations. Find them in the historic Ponce City Market area.
Your Challenges:
Primary Responsibilities:
Support projects by facilitating adequate communication with all stakeholders.
Manage priorities in line with objectives.
Implement analytical models in development environment by collaborating with software developers and machine-learning engineers
Responsible for all the integration activities at company level within the area of responsibility.
Work with and manage sensitive/restricted data in accordance with data governance policies.
Acts as a single point of contact for data integration support within the area of responsibility.
Takes the lead on the activities related to data integration from design to deployment, including the testing of analytics consuming integrated data on the integration platform of the provided solution as part of quality testing.
Provides level 2 support to guarantee that the new data integration will be properly maintained and is in line with current performance/committed SLA.
Ensures close communication & relationship with Digital Project Managers and Product Owners.
<10% Travel required domestically and internationally for training and customer support.

Required:
Must be currently located in the Atlanta, GA metro area.
Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, computer science, data science, or similar discipline. May substitute relevant experience in place of the degree.
Experience with Big Data solutions required.
Experience in handling data from a variety of sources like csv, json, xml, etc.
Experience in programming languages and markup language related to data integration.
Preferred:
Previous Airbus internship experience in Software Development, highly preferred.
Experience with Palantir Foundry or Skywise platform preferred.
Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need for visa sponsorship/work authorization is required for this opportunity.
