The Team: The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support and protect the applications that operate our network. What’s in it for you:
We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong foundation in Oracle/PLSQL/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence to join our Osttra Analytics team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Osttra BI platform, primarily using Qliksense, and ensuring it remains a powerful tool for data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.
Responsibilities:
BI Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain the Osttra BI platform, primarily using Qliksense.
Data Modeling & ETL: Design and implement efficient data models. Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle/PLSQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the BI platform.
Data Analysis & Visualization: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis using complex SQL queries to answer business questions. Create insightful visualizations and interactive dashboards to present data effectively using Qliksense.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the BI platform, ETL processes, and SQL queries.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure user adoption of the BI platform.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of relevant experience in Oracle/PLSQL/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence.
Proficiency in Oracle database programming (SQL, PL/SQL).
Strong experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures for data extraction and transformation.
Proficiency in developing Qliksense applications, including data modeling, visualization, and dashboard creation.
Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data warehousing and cloud-based BI solutions.
Familiarity with Looker or other BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Experience with AWS services (CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EC2, QuickSight, Lambda).
Understanding of GIT pipelines and Test-Driven Development.
