About the role: 

Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Software Engineer to join a team distributed between Gurgaon, India and Barcelona, Spain to create and expand integrations between different software systems. Gartner Digital Markets is a business unit within Gartner. What you will do:

  • Deliver outstanding software that improves user experience across multiple form factors with attention to functionality and reliability.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot. and optimize cloud-based applications and code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Work closely with product owners and other engineering teams to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with your team and work in an environment where all responsibilities are shared across your team.
  • Design and implement new solutions including software design, architecture, coding, testing and delivering.
  • Integrate multiple components and/or services into solutions that may involve security, authentication, authorization, accessibility, performance, reliability, observability, logging, and/or resiliency.

What you will need:

Strong IT professional with 2-4 yrs of experience in Golang application. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.

Must have

  • 2-4 years of experience working as a Software Engineer in Golang.
  • Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including experience writing tests.
  • Experience building solutions that integrate multiple components and/or services (for example cloud services and APIs) and experience building web-based APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience working under Agile-based development cycles and processes.
  • Should have an understanding in cloud computing.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
  • Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
  • Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
