Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

The team is responsible for driving the architecture, design and governance technology roadmap for the Group.
We support the digitisation and optimisation of operational processes across the bank supporting the Chief Operating Office (COO) and our product business in simplifying and enhancing the customer experience. Our value comes from abstracting away the complexity and reducing the cognitive load from our front-line teams so they can better serve our customers.
We are a team of over 600 spilt across India and Australia. Across 60 squads we are custodians of two towers and multiple services: Workflow and Process Digitisation; Quality Engineering; Service Management and Site Reliability Engineering; and Delivery.

You will be part of a dynamic and exciting team focused on building out a new capability for Group Operations and CBA Group. You will work with internal business partners around their operations to help automate and transform their processes and improve service quality for their operations to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proactively ensure the availability and stability of automated processes through monitoring and building awareness in a complex environment
- Guide and mentor development team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Make architectural decisions and drive design discussions to build scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.
- Contributing into uplifting devsecops maturity for Power Platform Automation team.
- Extend support the robotic services to help on .net code analysis & plan migration strategy to PAD system. Flexible for cross team engagements.
- Manages and leads the development of robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables.
Essential Skills:
- At least 12-14 yrs of overall experience
- At least 10+ years' experience in demonstrating hands-on experience on ASP.NET, PowerShell scripting, Power Platform development or similar RPA tools and design including Power BI, Canvas app, Model-driven apps, Power Automate RPA
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in low/no-code platforms, strong programming background in programming ASP.NET framework., sql sever.
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Proficiency in SQL Server for database management and advanced querying.
- Proficient in JavaScript for front-end scripting, Python scripting for automation tasks, and PowerShell for infrastructure and system scripting.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and development skill.
- Experience with Robotics and Automation methodologies and Engineering mindset.
- Completed any of Power Platform developer certifications (PL-400, PL-500, PL-600).
- Completed Azure fundamental certification (AZ-900)
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
