We are part of the Fraud Technology team as part of the Group Security Business Unit. We are accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Group’s Fraud technology platform fighting against fraudulent and scamming activities.
Our purpose is to support our Group’s business, Group Fraud Management Services in providing world class fraud prevention and detection to safeguard CBA and our customers.

Pride themselves in leading and participating in the design, development, testing and operations of solutions for the Group Fraud Decisioning Platform, specialising in all activities related to the core databases decision engines as well as resilience monitoring and support
JOB IS FROM: italents.netVIEWAre confident with core database development involving schema and table designs catering for 100mil+ events/day with 800+ columns per table meeting performance and scalability requirements.
Are knowledge with core database performance tuning and testing
Pride themselves on assisting on all database related operational implementation and support with automated monitoring and remediation upon incidents
Have solids hands on experience with core fraud decision engine (SAS Fraud Management) performance tuning and data pipeline (Ab Initio) performance tuning via testing support and tracing.
Are confident mentoring a small team and prime up junior engineers’ career growth
Are constantly self-initiating learning with no supervision, independent research
Pride themselves on their strong stakeholder management ability in gathering requirement extractions and expectation management
Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
Oracle EXADATA in-depth understanding and hands-on design, performance tuning and day-to-day operation experience.
Expert level experience in shell scripting in at least one of the shell languages: BASH, KSH, Python.
SASFM in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Ab Initio data pipelines.
Snowflake in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience.
