Responsibilities:
- Monitor computer networks for security issues.
- Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
- Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
- Stay current on IT security trends and news.
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.
- Carry out the tasks derived from your employment contract subject to the safety and health regulations at work, not only in defense of your own safety and health but also with respect to other workers and to protect the facilities where you work.
- Correctly use and maintain personal protective equipment in good condition in accordance with the instructions received by EagleBurgmann, immediately informing the person responsible for its supply or maintenance of the loss, deterioration, expiration, or malfunction of these.
- Report dangerous conditions or situations to the immediate supervisor or to the internal organs for prevention in the work entity (prevention services, occupational health and safety committee, prevention delegates) so that timely actions can be taken.
- Participate in the occupational health campaigns that EagleBurgmann determines, as well as attend the periodic medical examinations that the Medical Service arranges.
- Ensure the correct disposal of the waste generated from its activities, in accordance with EagleBurgmann's instructions, so that it can be disposed of in the correct way.
- Participate actively in complying with the requirements of the Integrated Management System
Position authorities:
The Information Security Analyst provides the following authorization, and he must ensure that any of the following authorizations are followed and fulfilled in compliance with the Local Policies and Procedures and with EagleBurgmann's Corporate Policies and Procedures:
- Stop any unsafe condition or situation that you become aware of, explaining the possible risk that you detect.
- Stop the process of any activity that you carry out if you become aware of a defect in the product / service that could lead to a consequence for the Integrated Management System, for EagleBurgmann.
- Stop any process to dispose of waste generated from your work activity or from any other within EagleBurgmann if it detects that it is outside the standards that the Company has determined for its correct handling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Alternative: Equivalent experience (> 5 years) in the information security field.
- Bonus: MBA in information systems.
- Life experience in information security or related field for at least 3 years.
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to support the patching environment in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
- Work as part of an international team through multiple time zones and culture backgrounds
