Job Description

Position Summary

The successful candidate will report to the Analytics Team Lead, Mobile Experience (MX) division for MENA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the data analysis process (end-to-end), with proficiency from Data Extraction, Transformation (SQL) and Data Storytelling (PowerBI and Excel). This role requires a proactive individual who learns fast to understand the business, possess a growth mindset, and who is driven to continuously improve business processes and challenge the status quo. Additionally, this person should be a good communicator, able to translate business questions into technical requirements, supporting the overall analytical function.

  • Engage in ad-hoc reporting as required by daily business needs.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses into big data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement within the Mobile Experience Division.
  • Extract and analyze data from various sources to discover insights that support the MX function.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for data analysis.
  • Design, develop, test and deploy basic RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and market trends, utilizing SQL, visualization tools, and advanced Excel techniques.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and data cleaning processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role, preferably within the consumer electronics or technology sector.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with extensive experience in querying large, complex datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, macros and charting.
  • Proven ability to visualize data effectively using tools such as PowerBI, SAC or Tableau.
  • Intermediate skills in RPA technologies (like PowerAutomate).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
