The team is responsible for driving the architecture, design and governance technology roadmap for the Group. Workflow engineering is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
Impact & contribution
Lead the Case Management Capability in providing flexibility to meet the needs of Case Management projects, offering services from the bottom (infrastructure/ software) to the top (business casing/ POC/ solutioning) or individual expertise (design/ built/ test/ run).The Case Management Platform owner must maintain and build productive relationships with the following individuals:
Customers of the Case Management Platform.
Architects
Delivery teams
Business Unit (BU)
Resource Managers
Vendors and third party suppliers
Roles & Responsibilities:
Apply the principles of testing, deployment, support and evaluation
Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision

Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements
Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices
Able to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with the development team to increase release frequency by improving test automation coverage, reducing flaky tests, and enhancing test efficiency. Lead efforts to ensure that the release process is streamlined and reliable.
Essential Skills:
4 years of industry-related experience
Knowledge of test automation tools like selenium, C#, .Net, version control(Git) (must have)
Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, and Iterative) strongly preferred.
Experience working in DevOps model
Contribute to the development of test harnesses, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality.
Build robust test doubles to minimise dependencies.
Maintain, curate and monitor non-production environments.
Influence product design, implementation and enhancement to support testability and quality.
Identify and advocate for process changes to improve product quality.
Automate real time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring.
Build, integrate and maintain solutions to provide test data
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of PEGA development (Nice to have).
Cloud domain knowledge - AWS Certification (Nice to have).
Coding language - JAVA (Nice to have)
Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
