Job Summary:
The Data Analyst, Performance Marketing will play a critical role in developing forecasting models and scenario planning for HP’s Worldwide Consumer Services Marketing team. This role focuses on analyzing global performance data, building statistical models, and providing actionable insights to influence marketing strategy and drive subscriptions for HP’s All-In Plan and Instant Ink. The analyst will collaborate closely with Customer Success and Global Business Unit teams, ensuring marketing efforts are data-driven and optimized for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze internal performance marketing data to identify trends, share findings, and develop reports in partnership with the Performance Marketing Manager.
• Forecasting Models: Develop and maintain statistical models to predict future subscription volumes, costs, and customer acquisition rates based on historical data and current market trends.
• Scenario Planning: Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various market scenarios and potential risks on subscription forecasts.
• Trend Identification: Monitor emerging performance trends and connect insights from market performance and data sources such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Lead with Data: Track key performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations to iteratively refine marketing strategies.
• Collaboration is Key: Build strong partnerships across product management, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution.
Requirements:
• Experience:
• 5+ years of proven experience in marketing analytics, forecasting, or a related role, ideally within technology or consumer software.
• Demonstrated success in developing forecasting models with inputs from marketing and media channels (e.g., paid media, affiliate, CRM).
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS, Python).
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
