What You'll Contribute

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support the capabilities of a large world-class enterprise-level platform.
  • Create scalable microservices of high performance, high availability, interoperability, and reliability.
  • Implement services according to designs, support spikes or proof of concepts, and adhere to standards and guidance from architecture team members.
  • Participate with Lead and Senior engineers and Product Management to create stories, and define their technical acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as source of technical expertise and support quality standards
  • Manage moderate complexity, know when to seek help and avoid blocking, and proactively discover and attack issues.
  • Share ownership in quality, test automation, continuous integration and delivery, and production operation.
  • Quickly escalate challenges and risks incurred during projects.

What We're Seeking

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Skilled with Java 17 or higher.
  • Solid backend/server development experience.
  • Spring Framework and Spring Boot Microservices.
  • RESTful and gRPC based Web services interfaces.
  • Full-stack development with JavaScript and Angular experience is a plus.
  • Event driven architecture is a plus.

  • Direct experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud (GCP) are a plus.
  • Certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner, Developer, and Solutions Architect are a plus.
  • Relational databases, SQL proficiency are required, and Object-to-relational mapping (Hibernate) is a plus.
  • Ownership of unit and functional testing and automated regression testing, and CICD integration is a plus.
  • Experience with Containerization, including Docker/Kubernetes, and Helm, Amazon ECS or EKS are a plus.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CrossPlane are a plus.
  • Comfortable with Scrum software methodology.
