The Opportunity
"FICO is seeking a senior AWS Cloud Engineer who thrives working in a fast-paced state of the art Cloud environment. This position will be heavily involved with the migration of our existing products, as well as the development of new products within our cloud platform” – Director, Cloud Engineering
What You’ll Contribute
- Build and maintain shared cloud infrastructure with robust and cost-effective design, which also aligns with security and policy enforcement standards.
- Collaborate with other cloud engineering teams to ensure successful synergy on designing and managing cloud environments.
- Collaborate with security teams to review and secure FICO configuration standards for cloud environments and components.
- Automate solutions with configuration management tools and CI/CD pipelines by the principle-Infrastructure as Code.
- Connect with FICO product teams to provide best practices guidance on designing and running cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud services and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
What We’re Seeking
- Experience in working in cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure. Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Proven experience with designing and managing dynamic cloud environments adopting industry security standards.
- Deep understanding and practical experience on Docker, Kubernetes and microservices solutions.
- Solid knowledge on Linux operating systems (RedHat, Amazon Linux, Alpine, Bottlerocket, etc.) and Windows servers.
- Significant experience working with development and management of web services and applications, such as Tomcat, JBoss or Nginx.
- Experience working with configuration management and provisioning solutions, such as Terraform, Ansible or Crossplane.
- Experience working with variety of imaging tooling and cloud-based images, such as HashiCorp Packer, Docker buildx or AMIs.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub, BitBucket, Jenkins, ArgoCD or Akuity.
- Experience working with vulnerability management security software and platform, such as Wiz, Cortex or Qualys.
- Expertise in scripting for automation and software engineering best practices (Bash/PowerShell/Python).View Orignal JOB on: italents.net
