ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about transforming data into valuable insights? We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support the efficient and effective operation of our Procure to Pay (P2P) data environment, helping drive data-driven insights and reporting across our Procurement and Shared Services teams.

This role is permanent full time based in Blackburn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tactical P2P Data Support: Utilize prescribed data management tools to ensure the availability of reliable, timely data for P2P analysis and reporting.
  • Data Stack Improvement: Develop and improve existing data stacks, including dashboards, to meet reporting needs.
  • Strategic P2P Data Support: Collaborate with the Data Management Office to maintain and optimize the strategic P2P data environment, escalating any issues as needed.
  • Environment Enhancement: Adapt the environment to accommodate new reporting requirements, introducing new views of existing data or integrating new data sources.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform data analysis to support P2P-related initiatives and provide actionable insights.

ABOUT YOU

This is a junior role that would suite individuals who have recently graduated through to those with two to three years in the workforce. Alternatively, you may have been in the workforce for some time but are looking for an opportunity to steer your career into the data analytics space.

Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, data-driven professional with a passion for improving processes and driving efficiencies.

Key capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation tools such as Data Factory.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL.
  • Ideally, familiarity with the Procure to Pay (P2P) process or a similar business operation.
